Hivewyre Data Co-op Numbers
(revised June 21, 2016)
Hivewyre is not yet a household name in programmatic advertising; and because of this prospective clients become somewhat cautious when our account reps make a call about joining our ecommerce data co-op. And as we can absolutely understand this stance to a certain degree, we are hoping this post in regard to our Hivewyre data numbers will bolster your confidence in us by using the universal language of all people…no, not love…math and numbers!
Without further ado, let’s see what percentages pique your interest, what tallies you find titillating and what numerals have you needing more…
This month will be our 4 year anniversary for Hivewyre (formerly Adhesive). So, while we are still young, we unfortunately don’t have the intoxicating new-born baby smell either.
83+ Million Unique Shoppers
This number continues to go up. We wrote a post over a two months ago about are increase in unique shoppers. This number indicates the amount of active shoppers currently within our data co-op. Understand, due to our second-party data, we are able to track shoppers that are going on ecommerce sites and have not made a purchase yet. Once a shopper makes a purchase, this user is taken out of our shopper pool.
This is the number of sites currently in our data co-op, which Hivewyre is pulling non-PII data from. But due to the continued addition of clients by our superb account reps, as well as the steady growth of our free analytics tool, Market Insights, this number continues to grow almost daily. This is over a 15% increase from the number of sites we had in late April.
46%, 40%, 32%, 13%
- 46% - The percentage of sites in our data co-op that have over 21K monthly unique visitors (MUVs).
- 40% - The percentage of sites in our data co-op that have over 42K MUVs.
- 32% - The percentage of sites in our data co-op that have over 85K MUVs.
- 13% - The percentage of sites in our data co-op that have over 428K MUVs.
While these numbers are a little lower than our April numbers, one needs to understand that we had a big uptick in sites and with the continue growth of our free analytics Market Insights tool
The amount of active categories (we quantify active as a category with 1 or more sites) being used within our data co-op right now.
The percentage of categories that have at least 1 site with over 21K MUVs.
The percentage of categories that have at least 1 site with over 100K MUVs.
The average amount of MUVs per category.
The average number of sites per category. This is an increase of 13.74% since late April.
Those are our numbers. We hope you liked them. We are quite proud of them, if you want to know the truth (they just keep on getting better). We definitely hope knowing this information, makes you more inclined to at least give us a chance to explain more in depth about second-party data and how it can be one component to your digital marketing strategy.
